This program is the brainchild of a coalition of community leaders, advocates, and activists in St. Johns County.

How much will it cost?

The programs currently proposed in Build Up West Augustine projects total $51.5 million.

Who is paying for it?

As proposed, all projects in Build Up West Augustine would only utilize federal funds already distributed to St. Johns County as part of the American Rescue Plan Act. These funds are currently destined for a reserve account, which is not their intended use.

No local taxpayer dollars are to be spent on this program as proposed.
