Our Mission

Invest available federal funds in order to incentivize new development & redevelopment while meeting the present and future needs of current residents.

Programs

Infrastructure

$15 million is proposed for investment in infrastructure, including a improvement program on the central corridor of West King Street, as well as an acceleration of the septic-to-sewer program in collaboration with the City of St. Augustine.

Transportation

$10 million is proposed to improve existing transit service and develop of a neighborhood circulator system to provide alternative transportation throughout the neighborhood as well as connections to local retail, entertainment, business, and regional transportation centers, while supporting the development of future regional rail service.


Housing

$12 million is proposed to incentivize the development of affordable and workforce housing to directly combat homelessness, spur economic growth, and encourage further development of the neighborhood.


Quality of Life

Over $14 million is proposed for community improvements, including the creation of a neighborhood medical facility, the addition of lighting, shade, and signage to increase safety, support for raising the historic profile of the neighborhood, a grant program for home maintenance, and the development of a master plan to guide the neighborhood’s development as a mixed-use, walkable community.
